There are gulfstream pilots at every major and legacy. There are Silver pilots at every major and legacy. Working at Silver won’t necessarily hold you back, but other things within your control can (e.g., education, GPA, checkride history, driving record, criminal record, etc.).

I know Silver has the flow to Frontier.... But where does silver pilot normally go to? From what I have heard in APC.. Silver pilot can't get a job at Major airline.. I just need some fact checked on this |

It is possible to get to a major straight from Silver. You will have to make yourself standout as a applicant. The majority of pilots from Silver end up going the LCC route or going over to an ACMI Carrier before heading to the majors.
"Standout"...   |

What kind of travel benefits does silver have? United? Jetblue? Does it include family?

Typical Day at Silver?
Anyone know what a typical schedule looks like at Silver? I live an hour from base (with no traffic). I’m just wondering if the 2+hour commute everyday would be worth it to be “home every night” vs commuting to a base for a trip.

Travel benefits are very limited at Silver. They do not get benefits like an express carrier would. You will get Travel benefits for you and your family on Silver. Then I believe after about 6 months of employment you will get some travel benefits for you and your family through Myidtravel. Unfortunately using the myidtravel benefits you are always at the bottoms of the standby list. |
What is the word on the new contract? Will voting be done soon? Pay raise?
