Default Part 135 VFR Checkride

I am contemplating going to a VFR 135 operation. Does anybody know how the checkride would go? Thanks for your help!

Depends on the company but;
Likely a systems-heavy oral, takeoffs, stalls, steep turns, landings and go-arounds. Single engine stuff if it's a twin.

You should review 14 CFR 135.293. Although VFR, you should expect to demonstrate one (1) instrument approach under "other emergencies".

Google "Austin's very easy guide to 135" and you'll find a useful write up.

Most VFR 135 rides seem to be foolproof. Glance over some basic 135 stuff, maybe a bit of opspec and gom, and know a bit about the plane.

Hop in the plane and do some maneuvers, a few landings, and an emergency or two and you're good to go.

This is good advice. My first 135 ride had an "instrument approach" where I just pink lined my way to the runway on a 296.
