Not trying to put down Care at all, I have a lot of respect for the work y'all put in, but it just doesn't make sense unless you absolutely must be home everyday and you want to live near where they fly and you don't care about giving up seniority at the airlines.

That's true. That's why I didn't continue with the hiring process.
If I get a job let's say in Alaska, I could get my time in 6-7 months, compared to 1.5-2 years.
No wife or GF, being at home every night is not important to me anyways

That's why Tradewind is a great choice. Get your time, choose not to upgrade, and leave. No contract for SICs.

Sure. Difference is Cape Air hires you easily, fast and by phone. TW is hard to get and takes forever

Oh I completely understand. Everyone’s life situations are different. For me personally I grew up in New England. All my extended family is up here and it was very important for me to have a balanced family life being able to be home every night.

It's hard, true. But it doesn't take forever if your timing is right. I started class 1.5 weeks from my interview.
But we are a small company and don't run monthly classes, so it can be a while, that is correct.

Still better than BTQ or Planesense though

Sometimes having a wife or GF means you want to be away from home every night

I meant their hiring process, not the company itself
I hope it has changed since last year.
