Default Job search ~900TT

Hi everyone,

I have about 900 TT and I am looking to move on from instructing. Does anyone know of any SIC gigs that hire with low time? I have applied to the PC-12 operators, but I don't want to sign a training contract. Are the pay sites like the oragnge site worh the money for my low time? Thanks!

I debated on using the site for awhile. Used it for one month but didn't really find much benefit. Most of the listings were from companies I already knew were hiring... Networking and use of social media groups seem to be just as effective. Good luck!

Unless you get a job in Alaska, you'll have to sign at least a 1 year contract in most places. You could apply to Ameriflight, no contract there.

I'd just bite the bullet and sign the contract. If you figure you will fly 50 hours a month, that should get you right where you need to be to get your ATP and move on to an airline.

Network network network.

Also go to local fields and see if there are any 135/management companies on field.

The company I work for has never advertised for jobs or business, the only way I knew they existed was through networking.

Try Lifeteam in Newton, Kansas, air ambulance and they fly KA 90.

They used to hire warm bodies for the right seat, not sure if they still do. When I was there some of the right seaters had around 500 hours. Good company to work for.

Orange site, if you don't want the job, don't spend the money.

I think JSFirm is still a free site. Lots of government contract stuff for the experienced folks.

I agree with Madman. I don’t know many people at Lifeteam but I am currently based out of there. I can tell you that they’re hurting for pilots. Constantly see FO positions. Mins are 800 for right seat last time I checked, but they’re hiring people lower than that is what I’ve heard.

They're hurting for a reason. You're obviously to low for Eaglemeds mins but after hearing recent stories from former employees I'd run from LT as fast as possible. **** poor pay, terrible QoL and questionable practices by management & captains.

Have you considered Cape Air? Great schedules 4 on 4 off or 4 on 3 off. Home every night. Fly a lot! 80-120 hours a month.

He doesn't wanna sign a contract, and at cape ypu sign a 1 year contract that starts counting after you get your Upgrade. So with those hours.....close to 2 years at cape total time.
