Does everyone start out in the C208 or can you be hired as SIC in the 1900?

I got the initial call from the recruiter, some questions. Then she said the hiring manager would phone to set up a interview In the upcoming week. That was 2 weeks ago and she contacted me saying they where behind a week ago. Anybody else go through the same experience?

According to a friend of mine who works in the company - if you're hired on as a SIC you're going to start in the 208

Yeah, they say it is. I don’t have my multi yet but I also haven’t heard anything. Maybe that’s why. I’m starting to get frustrated that all of these low time single engine operations are requiring multi. I get that they’re trying to lessen the pool of applicants. But it sucks because I had the GiBill pay for private through commercial and now I’m on my own to get my multi. I’m fine with that but I need a decent job in order to pay for my multi. You see my dilemma? Lol. Oh well, that’s my sob story. Good luck dude.

Tradewind Aviation, Planesense will hire you without your multi. They will talk to you usually when you have around 600hrs.
