This is what I did when I was there. Spent a year on the 100 then was able to hold captain on the X side and moved over. If you want to be home every night, the X side is for you. If you want to live wherever you want the inc. side is the right choice. Both have awesome crews to fly with and have their own pros and cons.

So how is JX still in business? Is anyone surprised or is there really something here? I read an article that said Qatar has bought a minority stake. There also seems to be a plan on getting 100 planes. They’ve only had 8 in 2 or 3 years they’ve been operating. And the ERJs are almost 20 years old now.

It would seem they’ve also done away with training contracts, expanded hiring, expanded bases, added aircraft and lines of flying, and (judging by social media posts) continued building on a growing base of happy customers. If they’ve got 8 planes flying daily (their website has shown 50-60 daily flights, so they must), they must have more than 8 on property. And some of us fly older or as old equipment with a Major’s logo on the side every day, without the amenities JSX features.
Appearances seem to favor the “there really is something here” category.

I don't know if you could help with these questions but just wondering, I currently have over 2,000 TT with a lot of multi turbine and multi turbine PIC. I have no ATP written and I'm really interested in JSX and not the regionals. It says that an ATP written is required at the bare min but I have heard of people getting hired without the written. Is that still a possibility?
Is Phoenix Mesa Gateway a base for JSX? I saw a job opening on their website that specifically stated for JSX.
How senior is the LAS base?
Thank you in advance for answering my questions.
