In a nutshell, XO was at the pinnacle of the non-Netjets Part 135 world, with a fantastic pilot group who enjoyed good pay and benefits, a super, employee-friendly corporate culture , and happy passengers. Pilots were waiting to get on there like fanboys standing outside of the Apple Store on a new iPhone launch day. Then, they got acquired by Malta-owned VistaJet, who took a wrecking ball to XO’s corporate culture and closed their KMCC operation and moved to FXE, turning them into another “South Florida Part 135 Operation”.. =(…. IMHO.

Yes. Yes. And yes. I was at XO for over five years. 100% correct.

Vista and JE

Has Vista impossed any changes to the JE pay or QOL since they bought JE? I'd really hate to see them do what they did to XO... That's just mean!

Sorry to hear this.. So what have they changed? Vista is known to take away vacation time and forces training on days off.. Hope that they don’t pull this there..

They already have.
I just turned down an offer, citing these two very things (along with others) as the reason for me bowing out of the opportunity.

Looks like they have been adding a bunch of CL605s lately. Maybe used birds from VJ? Gotta be tough to find and then retain experienced pilots in this market.

All it takes is, and not limited to, $$$$, Benefits, QOL, Hotel & Airline Points, and Respect.

With the exception of hotel points, none of the things you listed are present at any company under the VJ umbrella 😂

So, you mean a 180 deg shift in culture?

Just heard the Kiwi from VJ has been appointed DO of Jet Edge. I’m sorry for all the line pilots
