Maybe I missed it, what is the pay at right now? I'm a high time PC12 guy (2500+) and looking for a post military gig. The mission sounds cool and I'm in the panhandle area already. Not so sure about 7days of 12hr shifts though. Maybe if it was just on call from home.

This is the most satisfying flying I’ve done since ISR work in the AOR. And the upside of being home just can not be beat.

What’s with the “being home” references?
None of the EMS gigs I’ve participated in have a call-from-home option. Some did in the distant past. Is that being reanimated to attract pilots or do you mean simply living in base?
Regarding pay I think everyone knows how far behind Methods has fallen. I’ve made 50% more than your contract rate being hospital based.

Not an insignificant detail on EMS is that some situations allowed ‘at home’ call within a certain distance of the airport. My former employer lost a large chunk of talent when this policy was rescinded. In this hiring environment I’d like to see the policy of a qualified at home reserve reinstated.
When you guys throw these terms around know that you are describing in confusing terms a significant part of the history of your job. And yes, I agree with the dragging a bag around terminals part.
