Default We're Hiring

Based out of PLD(small midwest town) www.miller-aviation.com Send Resume's to the Chief Pilot from there please.

Basically have close to or above the Part 135 IFR mins(1200TT etc.... if you have around 1100+hrs TT you have a good chance).

Also be able/willing to work flights to and from Canada, be willing to live in small-town USA. Be willing to work your butt off, I flew 1300hrs my first 12 months. We fly C-310's, 1 C-404, and 1 C-421. Coming soon a C-441(Conquest II). Everything is Single-Pilot(unless requested by the passengers for two), both Passenger and Freight Operations. We primarily do on-demand freight, with a few nightly check-flights(this is still unscheduled 135).

You will get great experience in all weather, all hours flying. I must warn all possible applicants that Instrument Skills are a MUST!!!!! If you can't fly IFR, forget about it. If you can't Fly IFR single-engine, Forget about it. We are not here to train you to fly instruments, just to learn the plane and our operations. I've seen 4/6 wash out for this reason.

There is a training agreement/contract, I forget what it is. Training pay rate is @ $14k/yr. Once you pass your check-ride, you'll be advanced to $27k/yr. Typically upgrades are patchy, depending on the needs of the company. Please PM me if you have any questions/comments/concerns

Erik

I'm going to keep my eye on this one... no where near mins but I've got to figure out if this is what I want to do. It was fun flying with you though, and it seemed like a lot of fun. I've got another 1-2 years to think about it though ha. Cya around man.

If only I had 1200T. I'm not too far from PLD, either.

What's your totals? You out of Tecumsche, Marshall, or Meyers Divers. Like I said, we'll hire under the mins if you're semi-close.

$27K sounds awefully low for that kind of operation and equipment, particularly with how much your flying. Is that $27K salery?

Yeah it's Salary, and low? Airnet pays $22k, airline FO's pay $18-24, so I don't consider it low. I have no idea what Central Air or Flight Express pays, but honestly right now I'm making more than enough to support myself, and my wife(who's also going back to school) at 1.5yrs with the company. Also considering the area we are based, it's very low cost of living compared to anywhere really.

Side note, we do get a very "nice" raise at your 6 month ride. If you stay past a year, there's also more raises and possible and most likely advancement to the C404 and C421. I'm taking the 421 ride hopefully this or next week. I was held out for a turbine opportunity, but it turned to sour grapes, so now I'm having to back-track and go into the 421 until we get something(supposed to be a C441 Conquest II)

You gotta get started somewhere. It would be good experience to move up the ladder.
