Was my comment not true? Why should he sell himself short?
Well, first of all the 1200 is a FAR, and second AMF doesn't really care about thousands of hours of RJ glass SIC time...that means nothing to them.

Forgive me, I did not think about the 1200 off the top of my head when I wrote that.

Besides that, it seems that you are attacking me, why?

That was not directed entirely at you, but to all the furloughed 121 guys who are upset that AMF wont call them. Not trying to be rude or anything but RJ SIC time doesn't work out well with 135 freight...completely different type of flying.

We all know that freight dogs are like top gun pilots, but everyone has to start in the freight world somewhere. But you made your point.

I actually agree with Tango Fox, and I'm sure that was one of the main reasons I did t get the job. The interview was great experience and I did well in the interview and the Sim, but in the end they are looking for PICs, that can make decisions and take care of themselves and the airplane they fly. SIC time is useless either way, unless your transitioning from one airline to another, but I have realized that it is harder to get a 135 job with a 121 background. I do have PIC and Solo time time, but not recently, only a bunch of SIC time which pretty much sucks, as I have no intentions going back to the airlines. I want to get back into flying piston twins and 135, but I have to find and employer who will give me the chance. Now that the PHX interviews are over, I guess I can say to the guys that are furloughed 121 not to get their hopes up. Good Luck to everyone though!

So we're thought of as top gun pilots? How so? I would like your take on that. Is it because we're seen as "dangerous"? or is it because we can fly an inverted ILS down to 200-1/2 and aileron roll it out just as the wheels touch down?

Alright, calm down. I was being sarcastic that its seemed as though tango fox was insinuating that 121 pilots were lesser pilots.

It's obvious that freightdogs are highly respected and I'd like to be one someday. Lets just all chill out.

I'm chilled out. I wasn't attacking you, I was just curious how 135 freight dogs are perceived in the 121 world. Next time I will have to remember to put "LOL" or a next to my comments next time.

Part 121 - You're everyone's problem. That's because every time you go up in the air, you're unsafe. I don't like you because you're dangerous.
Part 135 - That's right! Ice... man. I am dangerous.

CFI - No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea.
