I guess I meant no on the hotels, as in not every run or base gets hotels. Its either crew apartments or hotels.

Which airplanes are in and how senior is DFW? I know the bro is in DFW, but anything else? Fiance is about to take a job there, and being based there would be attractive, if I applied.

Thanks.

I think they have one BE-99 run there; everything else is SA-227s, BE-1900s, and EMB-120s. When you've got the newest seniority number, you kind of have to take what's available for a while -- and accumulate some experience and company savvy. After you have some time on the job your seniority will hold a line in a domicile you want. Just like the big airlines. . . .

Hate to burst your bubble but all new hires are going into PDX or OAK. PDX is full right now so OAK is almost a sure bet. Also, all new hires are going into the PA-31 to start. I havent heard of anyone going straight into turbine this time around.

As of right now I would say pretty tough. The last person that went to PHX was back during the October bids, and that was for only one PA31 slot. As of right now, everyone in the upcoming February and March class should expect to be OAK or PDX based.

There is a lot of talk about a possible big bid coming out in the very, very near future for openings in multiple bases. Once that bid clears out some of the senior employees, or the ones willing to move everyone’s chances will be better about getting based where you want.
