I got hired last month for a fall F/O class...does anyone out there know when that would actually be...August, September? Also, when sent on temporary duty (Carib, Indiana) typcially how long are you there for?

There will be a class on Aug 19th, you can plan on a class every three weeks after that. Welcome to the team!

Thanks, glad to be aboard, and I look forward to starting. Back to my earlier post, anyone know what a typical cycle of temporary duty is to an outstation(Carib duty)? Days...weeks...months?

I hear some rumors that they are going to start some west coast routes?

That would be sweet!

Negative.

Guam ops are Part 121. CONUS ops are Part 135.

Anyone know why they choose to split the operation between 135 and 121?

We are looking to fill the new bases in upstate NY. We have been awarded the EAS contracts for Massena, Ogdensburg, and Watertown all serving into Albany. The pilots' will be based at the out stations. We need somewhere between 4-6 pilots on that region, 2 per base. Most schedules will run 4 on 3 off from a 2 pilot base. If you are interested in another region or base that is always a bidding option. We sent out postcards to all ATP's in those regions, hoping to attract a few pilots. In this time of unknowns, I can say we are growing and getting more a/c, while others are cutting. The pay and benefits are good, and your coworkers are great. Check us out or PM me for details.

Size of aircraft. Typically anything under 12,500 lbs. still goes under 135(there's both scheduled and unscheduled 135 regs)
