Linear Air in Mass

The above is incorrect information, check your facts.
FIKI - It is reported that it's complete and paperwork is in the FAA's hands, should be announced shortly.
Dual Garmin 400W's are being tested, installed and will be certified in August.
"Dual Garmin® GPS 400W units that provide enroute and terminal GPS navigational guidance with autopilot coupling and Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) capabilities for Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) approaches. The units also offer integrated navigational source selection and flight path overlay integrated on Avio NG's navigational displays."
RVSM operations have been approved for quite some time.

Like you said yourself----FIKI not approved yet. GPS not available yet. Eclipse has been saying "shortly" for quite some time now.

The HEF closure and Caravan sales don't sound great.
Wasn't trying to hijack with the Eclipse question, but the troubles with that aircraft don't seem like they'd have helped the company any ... (and the FIKI thing seems that much more likely to be an issue with Linear vs DayJet).
Any more info on QOL, scheds, benefits, etc?

sorry about that when i worked there it was 5 on 2 off. 99% of the time you end back at home base. Also Medical and Dental was being offer. Reserve is 14 hours duty day. When you sit reserve you are at home (that is what is was when I was there) with an 1.5 hour call out. hope that help.
Don is that you?
Anyway....Linear has a pretty good QOL as mentioned above, you are home almost every night...an overnight trip every now and then. Medical/Dental/401k offered. Standard reserve is 9a-9p, you do sit reserve at home and have a 2 hour call out. HPN and BED have a high cost of living, however in the BED area, there are some reasonable options (NH). Fleet is currently consisted of 5 Caravan and 4 Eclipse.

I am a Yankees fan, if that helps...
Havent actually flown the thing, but have flown IN it. Its a pretty cool little airplane, I am sure that with improvements coming (hopefully) to the avionics, it would be fun to fly.

Emergency Inspection Of Personal Jets Urged
POSTED: 5:44 pm MDT June 12, 2008
UPDATED: 6:56 pm MDT June 12, 2008
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Federal safety investigators are recommending the immediate inspection of throttles on small personal jets manufactured by the Albuquerque-based Eclipse Aviation after one made an emergency landing in Chicago.
The National Transportation Safety Board urges the Federal Aviation Administration to require the immediate inspection of all Eclipse 500 aircraft. The NTSB also said the company must develop an emergency procedure for dual-engine control failure on that aircraft.
NTSB Chairman Mark Rosenker said the Eclipse 500 is still a new aircraft model and the safety issue needs "immediate attention."
