Default Flight Express???

The other day I was at ORL, FLX's Headquarters. I was there around 420pm and there were no cars, no airplanes, and no visible lights on from the outside. Did they move their HQ somewhere else since Airnet bought them out?? Or did they get shutdown? Any thoughts??

They used to be at the Showalter side and just recently move over to Sheltair side of the airport. Two three weeks ago, maybe!?

They're out of the trailer? That's a bad sign.

Gawd what 4 years ago I heard the canceled check hauling business was done for. Maybe that's it? Most of what they do is haul canceled checks.

Ya... I think it's slowly dieing.... but it is very expensive to set up a electronic clearing site, and I think that's why most of the small banks are choosing to continue flying them.

I have never actually been over on that side. I can only assume that door codes would be involved. I do belive the entire airport property is fenced in.

Airnet doesn't own flight express nor did we buy them out. Our parent company owns both of us and from what it sounds like is slowly demolishing both of us. I'm pretty sure flight express is still in business because they are putting a lot of airnet work on their 210's and kicking our sorry a$$es on the street at the same time. It's not fair but it's also not flight expresses fault. In the end we are both doomed because flying canceled checks is going away and at an increasingly faster rate than before. Unfortunately our mgt is more worried about how we can cut money here and there than they are interested in finding new opportunities ie bio med, nukes, air ambulance, body parts, whatever. we're not doing it, just slowly shrinking into oblivion. In short what they are taking off lears navajo's barons and caravans and putting in 210's will likely be taken off the 210 and put in a van in a matter of months. Hopefully we can all find new jobs somewhere. I heard go jet was hiring. good luck to all
