Default Somebody made a boo boo

Flew into a airport in the az,nv,ut region and a certain 135 company plane had 7500 accidentally in their transponder. I was very impressed how fast the authorities jumped on the plane (10+ cop cars). How much trouble would someone get in this situatioin?

So, since your being so cagey with info, I have to ask, were you by chance the pilot of said plane and you are trying to figure out if your going to meet any trouble down the road????

Well, if said pilot doesn't get into trouble, that pilot will have one helluva story to tell later on!!!

I was being cagey because some of you might know the pilot. Ameriflight was written on the plane. I think I heard the guy lost his radios and put 7500 insead of 7600. I am just curious what would happen to the pilot? Lose his license? Slap on the wrist?

So you see, he actually dialed in 7600, but the transponder malfunctioned and put out 7500. Thats the story and he needs to stick to it.
