Would you need to take a 121 written?
Would you get another rating?

EX: I have 1200 hrs ect.
I go to my fav cargo company(you might know the one) I log another 300 hours, can I know retake the 121 written and then another practical exam?
Am I not an ATP as a line captain for a 135?
Not sure what you mean by the "121 ATP ride." An ATP is an ATP unless you're taking an ATP and type rating ride at the same time. There's a 121-oriented knowledge (written test) and a 135-oriented one. Doesn't make much difference which one you take, but the 135 version is a little more realistic for folks without experience in the 121 environment.

Whether or not you need an ATP for 135 flying depends on the type of flying and type of equipment.

If you do everything on ground that's required, apply for it, and fly with a properly authorized ATP Examiner or FAA inspector, current rules say a multiengine 135.293-297 ride statisfies ATP flight test requirements.

Crap... i think it was the most stress free check I ever took. It was in a Citation II, with IFR conditions ... and gusty winds.... logged 1.9 ...the examiner was sorta old school and said it was tooo easy with a copilot in the plane so he asked me to fly my SE ILS as if I was single pilot...piece of cake.

Took my ATP ride 18 years ago just to not waste my two years running out on the written. Did not have much money, so I took it in a Warrior (believe it or not) just so I would have the ATP. Figured I would get the multi added on to it down the road with someone else paying for it. Even in a Warrior, one of the toughest rides I ever had (with the FAA). IFR, gusty, etc. It really is just a highly refined instrument ride. Oh the good old days...

I took mine last year. I had an old PTS and was surprised when our POI told me how the standards have changed. No more +- 50ft on the steep turns etc. The ride is pretty much a instrument and commercial ride put together now.
