C'mon... it's better than working for a living!

Now I have to go to bed. 4:30 starts pretty early, and I work 14 hour days, putting in sometimes 8 hours in the air. Yawn. Good night!

Where are good places to find seasonal jobs nowadays? I might be able to take time off next summer from the RJ. Speaking of, the vast majority of my time is in nosedraggers and the majority of that in the RJ.

Summer '09 in Alaska is sounding cooler and cooler.

Question Career Changer interested in Alaska flying

I have never been to Alaska, but two of my MEI students are from Alaska and they LOVE it. I have heard and read so many amazing things about the state, and about flying there. I have read up on these Alaska forums. I am actually interested in exploring the possibility of going there to fly for a year or two. I currently have about 1000 total time with almost 250 multi. By the end of March, I expect to have 1300-1500 total with 600-800 multi (all as instructor). A few questions that have yet to be answered:
1. If I did decide to go there, could I get a job that would pay enough to support a wife and two young kids? (Yes, my wife is actually excited about the idea.)
2. If so, where?
3. Will they care that I have zero "Alaska time"? How is someone supposed to get "Alaska time" if nobody will give them the chance?

Thanks.
