There's definitely a class in January, that's when the next FO is upgrading at least. Also I heard there might be a small class in December but I don't really believe it. The plan is to be double the size we are now by this time next year, so we will be hiring like crazy at some point.

theres a new hire FO class DEC 14th

Sweet deal, I'm happy to be wrong about that. There are a lot of flights staffed with 2 captains right now, so we could use a few more FO's

Now if we could just find some people that actually want to live in NorCal. There are a lot of commuters in NorCal. Its only going to get worse when SJC opens up, unless they open up SNA or MYF/SAN first. It depends how you look at it, good for some and frustrating for others. But our rate of growth over the next year should get everyone where they want to be.

Ugh..man Id love to apply at Surf Air. Love the PC 12s and I have a foot hold in the SF bay area, so I am going no where anytime soon....how firm are they on the 800 hrs?

I've applied and updated once (and shall continue to do so). Bay Area native- born and raised. 13 years well-established in current south bay location. Currently, a simple 10 minute drive to SJC. How much more "want to live in NorCal" do we need to get? :) OK maybe I'll bold my address on my resume.

Surf likes internal recommendations like most companies.

Only one way to find out, apply and then keep applying every few weeks

This. I had someone with the company offering to get me in at 500 TT. So they aren't very strict on the 800 if you know people.

This is true. I know of a couple of people hired at 500 and below. But they had there stuff walked in, and knew someone high up. Really, 800 hrs is not very much.
