Still no word on KSNA or another San Diego base. Still getting home every night (99% of the time). Still plugging away. A lot of the same at the moment. But routine can be a pretty good thing for a while.

Bizjetjobs.com recently showed (5/21) Surf Air job listings. The Pilot listing at the Surf Air website has been refreshed several times in the last couple months- SA is accepting resumes and interviewing into a hiring pool so apply and update. Network around if possible.
The rest would be speculation and rumors. Service into SJC began in early April. This article from Aug 2014 also covers intended expansion markets: California's Surf Air orders 15+50 Pilatus PC-12NGs - ch-aviation.com

The schedule is extremely dependent on which base you get. It's very random, you could ask for 5/5 but the chances are slim. For example, if you got CRQ or SBA based then you could enjoy 18-20 days off per month, but if you get NorCal or SoCal you will probably get 12 days off.
As far as pay, they are currently trying to only schedule people for min guarantee which is 72 hours. But trips come into open time quite a bit so you could pick them up for extra money.
Flights per day is also dependent on what base you get. The average is 4 legs per day but obviously if you are only getting 12 days off per month you are probably flying a lot of 2 leg days.
Granted there are definitely worse things in life than flying one turn in the morning & being done by 10:30. But just like anything else it's all how you look at it.
