Is there any way to get around the "Do you have 500 or more total flight time? *" question on page 1 of the application if I have ~490 TT?

Skyhwk,

Is there anyway you can go out and rent a Cessna 150 for ten hours? It might be a good investment for the future.

Not gonna lie, I miss the kind of flying I got to do while building my 2,000 hours AK time, and would love to spend some time out in DLG or AKN again, but I'm firmly in the 121 world these days.

The short answer is no... but you could lay out an ETA to 500 hrs in your cover letter... and then reapply when you meet the mins. Good luck.

Gabriele was a great guy. He had a very kind heart and loved flying in AK.... He will be missed by many.... RIP my friend.
