Fargo Jet Center info?, Fargo North Dakota
Has anyone flown for the Fargo Jet Center? I've enjoyed little Fargo the times I've been there and wouldn't mind living in the prairie up there but I can't find anything about the local FBO, the Jet Center, in terms of their charter operations/employment. Looks like they have 3 King Airs, a Citation, and a Lear 60, maybe someone would have an idea of how an operation such as that might work/pay? Anything about the schedule, pay, QOL, hours flown etc that could be provided would be highly appreciated!

I'll be spending some time up there in the FBO in the coming weeks.
I've only been there once before. I liked the town and the airport was good to work out of - - but that was in March (and now upcoming in August); I've heard other stories of that prairie in the winter time!

I don't think the FJC is hiring pilots right this moment and from what I heard they tend to hire pilots "within" so if you were a CFI at their flight school, you have a chance to upgrade to their charter department. If no one fits the bill then they will outside hire.
Buddy of mine works for Alpine Air and they got a route open to Fargo from Sioux Falls. You must live in Sioux Falls but you'll be in FAR 5 days a week. A great opportunity to sort of get your foot in the door at the Jet Center there, start networking and maybe eventually start working for their charter department when a position opens. However I think you need to already have some multi engine turbine time and Alpine will hire you right into 1900 school to get your type.

There's also the Fargo Air Museum at the airport.
If you're downtown go to Rhombus Guys for great pizza and their own beer they brew. JL Beers is great for burgers and, well, beer. The Hotel Donaldson is really nice for a more upscale "foodie" type experience.
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. Enjoy Fargo!
