Liking it and not minding doing it are two completely different things.
One day you may have to wipe you're parents as you'll have to wipe the baby.
You're not riding my sympathy train here buddy.
You don't get to pick and choose what you like or don't like in life.
Join the military or do something to man the F up.

But I have heard from people in the business that duties are different from one 135 to the next.
It's not like you're detailing the aircraft on a daily basis. Sometimes, crap happens (literally), and there is no other choice but to take care of it. If the passengers trash the airplane, and I am in a place where a professional aircraft cleaning company can come take care of it, I call our maintenance, and they take care of it.

I would say nearly every 135 expects you to restock the aircraft, do a light cleaning and wipe down, and keep the aircraft presentable between flights. Anything outside of that, I would say, isn't normal, but like I said, sometimes you just have to do what needs to get done. Sometimes, that's driving to pick up sandwiches, or going to buy a special bottle of wine, or force a turd down the crapper.

Hey brother just because one doesn't revel in being elbow deep in $hit like you doesn't mean they aren't a man. It just means they obviously have higher expectations for their life then you. Enjoy your $hit show 😈

It has nothing to do with expectations. It has to do with being fluid in charter. Some days are easy and some are hard, you have to flow with it.

There's a reason why I'm tired brother.....
I'm tired of people being entitled and needing sh!t handed to them in life.
Pun intended for the ones that are humor-deficient.

Why? Because I have pride in my job and like a clean airplane for my customers.
After every flight I'd use leather wipes on all the seats.
Why? Because I like to take care of the stuff that's been entrusted to me.
If that's beneath you then 135 is not for you.
That's awesome. It'll also give you great experience to moonlight as a housekeeper for Super 8 motels.

I do apologize..you seem to be the more qualified for that gig:

I am familiar with XO. They were our competitors when I flew for NetJets. You apparently failed to see my prior 91, 135, and 91k experiences. I flew Navajos, King Airs, Citations, and Learjets for almost 20 years before moving to 121. I've also been with a training center since just after the last major economic collapse. Multiple types, FOM/GOM's, OpSpecs, left seat, right seat, and IP. Hilton Head, Aspen, Eagle, Telluride, Sun Valley, Truckee, etc. Been there, done it, had a beer and BBQ, and left. Same as a lot of guys

I heard a pretty nasty 121 story from one of the guys in my ground school. He was the captain on a 737 in India and said that the ground crew could not get the drain valve for the lav to open. He went back to take a look at it with some tools.
He ended up getting a nice spray shower of all the contents in the tank. He found a shower somewhere and changed clothes because he still had to fly in an hour or two.

Man, I would be worried about all kinds of diseases after that.

There are some really good 135 jobs out there that do not involve flying "customers" or the Hoyte Toyte rich, or being at the beck and call of the owner of the plane.

I fly Medivac, great schedule, never pack a bag, 12 hr shift, paid whether I fly or not and make low six figures.

Fly the plane, spend 1-2 minutes making it ready for the next flight, and go home!
