Caravan Captain...?
How about single pilot C-208?

I flew oodles of hours on the C-207s in Alaska, but never mentioned Captain on the resume.

Been assistant Chief Pilot sifting through resumes for my boss, tended to pick the ones being low key.

Caravan, multi engine 135, CFI, regionals... All stepping stones.
If the goal is a Major Airline, just get there the fastest you can, and that is probably going to be the regional route.
