Well negotiated. That’s what PBS hinges on for this pilot group. We can’t negotiate ourselves out of a paper bag, much less navigate that minefield.

I the union would negotiate increased flow for PBS. Anyone think the Company would go for that?

Better off going for pay rates. Flow has and will be arbitrarily violated by all WO’s and then subsequently settled in arbitration anyway.

At this point your better off going for cash I’m hand and better work rules.

Maybe you were sent to us by the grace of god Mr DEC, but unless you know the secret that these quality candidates don’t.... I wouldn’t be so sure of yourself. Unless you will go somewhere that isn’t UAL/DAL/AAG
With the current flow rate, NHs will be on property for as much as 11 years before their turn arrives. It makes sense for them to get out to a LCC et al as soon as possible. With 2nd year LCC rates above 12 year CA rates at PDT plus retirement, there’s almost no scenario where they can make up the lost career earnings but waiting to flow.

The 5 year flow for new hires is currently a mathematical impossibility at current rates (6/ month baseline). Losses would have to Average 11.5/ month for all 60 months for a 5 year flow.

Approximate # of pilots above the last person hired for the year before they flow (rounded to the nearest 10).

They must be having problems attracting talent. I’ve heard the RTP candidates are back en masse
