Yeah, then we make $300+ per hour picking up 3x, at least on the CA side. I’d much rather be staffed better with higher (than these new rates) base pay and just allow the 3x to go away. Grated, it is nice knowing you can pick up 1-2 days and make a bunch of money in the short term if you so desire.

Also guess what? Your not going to see 90 hour lines when the average stage length you fly is what 40 min? If that.

I think you need to go browse through the other regional airline profiles and do some comparing of pay rates. You have a 50 seat rate because omg you fly 50 seaters not 76 seaters.

Dude. So wrong Let’s say for argument’s sake that your theory of shorter stage lengths = fewer credit hours. As it stands currently, most of our 4 days are artificially inflated to 16 due to the “min day” average. If we had a true mine day, and if it were on par with other 50 seaters at 4.25, we’d credit somewhere in the ballpark of 80-85 hours. 45/60 lines for July include credit hours OVER 75 (albeit not by much on some, and upwards of 82-83 on some 11 day off lines). So with 4.25, we get 4 more hours (at least) per month. That’s just ONE step we could implement to increase our take home pay, besides the hourly rates. Not to mention adding trip/duty rigs to incentivize the company to use us more efficiently.
There are so many things that can make this place better. Glaring inefficiencies all over.

Was wondering where you two disappeared to. Tell me this, does Piedmont now have one of the highest 50 seat rates in the industry besides 9E?

You don’t know that at all. Piedmont management has a history negotiating rates several dollars an hour lower than other Wholly Owned regionals flying the same aircraft. Let’s see what all of the published rates are before getting excited. Piedmont lags so far behind in other areas that even matching hourly pay rates doesn’t equate to pay parity either.
