PBS is not perfect at all. It will not be 100% better. But it is at the very least a chance of a change to try something new and to fix the biggest problem that PDT has - schedules and QOL.
I'm not hearing any other suggestions either.....have any better ideas?

I never said it would correct that. However, if everyone wants to stick with the current status quo of bidding than schedules will always be the same and QOL (days off and trip pairings) will never improve - it's impossible under the current system.

You would need mngnt to changehow it thinks of it’s crews. They would never negotiate in good faith for a reasonable set of rules for PBS. Garbage into PBS, garbage out of PBS. They would have to go to big daddy AA and get a better mix of flying throughout the system to increase efficiency. None of them have the balls to do that or the desire. Get your apps out and don’t wait on the flow, happy holidays and good luck to everyone.

Or get a different budget from mainline.. change our min day credit to 5.5 hours.. 2.50 hour per diem..
That is the only way we will get better schedules and 22 hour 4 day trips...

Its simple math. Our daily rig is what it is therefore 16 hour 4 day trips and 11 days off. If you change your daily rate you get paid more and more days off. Just add up the numbers.

You guys should come on over to Spirit. Once your a line holder you can literally custom make your schedule every month by dropping to zero and cherry picking open time out of any base you want. Even on reserve at least you get 4 days off at a time If you want them. Only been here a few months and I all ready have Thanksgiving off this month and most of Christmas off next month plus 18 days off with every weekend off.
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. Don’t be blinded by the flow to AA.
