Word on the street is, AA is giving up scope and giving us the 190's they're getting rid of
I kid you not, I've heard multiple people say that seriously, like it would be a good thing in the alternate universe where it would be possible...
But as far as fleet plan, your guess is as good as anyones. As for now, PHL e145 is the only thing you can count on

No, you won't fly then at the regional rate, in 7 years when you flow you will fly the lowest paid major airline plane for 5 years. After 5 years of flying it you will be like "let the regionals fly it, mainline pilots should make more"

I've actually heard a few people say that, too. I try to gently tell them that absolutely will not happen and absolutely _should_ not happen. Don't know where these crazy rumors come from.

145 will be here to stay for a while, that's obvious. But let's not forget some of these airplanes are almost 20 years old and 50 seaters will be the first to go when fuel rises again. Who knows what the future holds.

I know the guy that started that rumor. It's not true. If you think it is, you don't understand the labor relations environment at AA, they are not giving up 100 seat scope, nor should they.
