Thank you. What is the pay during training? I really like what I have learned about Piedmont so pay is not a deal breaker. Just trying to plan my budget during the training/reserve period.

Plan to be in training for about 9 months with a lot of time at home. If you have the opportunity to work a second job, I highly recommend it as the pay is not very good. About 2200/month after taxes.

9 months for training? Why so long? Is all training in CLT?

Does that 9 months include the IOE or is that 9 months before you even start flying?

Indoc (5 days) and systems (2.5 weeks) are in CLT. We have sims in numerous locations, including CLT. The delays in training may change depending on when your class date is but they've been pretty consistent for about a year. Currently the delay between Indoc and systems is about 3 months and the delay between systems and sims is 1-6 weeks. All in all, most have been completing SOE within 7-9 months from their first day of indoc.
