Half a month into the new pay rates. It is clearly time to return to rumors, conjecture, and fantasy….

Perhaps this has been answered elswhere, but I cannot seem to find it, but if your end goal is mainline AA, can you not go to PDT or any of the other WOs and once you become "competative" based on your 121 hours, can you not directly apply to AA and get hired that way or is there a something that says either flow or nothing? Also, what is the TT and 121 time that mainline AA will start to consider at? Thanks for the help!

It’s possible. Very rare though overall. Historically most people got fed up with waiting on AA to decide to take them outside the flow and went to AA’s competition. If you need to go to a regional and really want to go to AA, go to Endeavor (since it’s wholly owned by Delta and hurts them more). Otherwise plan on approximately 7 years to get to AA via the flow from the Wholly Owned and you won’t be disappointed.

there was one month where we had 23 people hired at American and left for American. I think that set off some alarms here and after that it seems like people are not getting class dates as they actively meter the wholly owned hires.
