I heard the other day that the Piedmont DO had to resign because he may have been arrested again for drunk driving.
I just heard this and have not been able to confirm. Does anyone have information?
Also - I also heard that the CP is being promoted to the Director of Operations position. I haven’t heard anything good about him. I also heard the ALPA MEC has a soft spot for him. Is he a good CP? Will he be a great DO?

JohnnyJetProp? Yeah that is not a positive thing at all if true.
Simply, he is not a good person at all. He has no integrity, nor is he a leader or someone who is trying to help the pilot group.
He has a long history of pilot pushing. Proceed with caution if you ever have to deal with him, and keep records of emails and phone calls, you'll need all the ammo you can get when he tries to F you over, he's not your friend.

The complete lack of integrity. It spares him the inconvenience of pilots calling him for assistance. If any PDT pilots ever question where the missing puzzle piece in the PHL crew room might be, I would wager that it's in his desk drawer.

It’s absolutely crazy how he has done such as 180 degree pivot. In a previous life he was supposedly a staunch unionist and always a thorn in the side of the company. How times have changed. He can’t have too much time left before 65 hits.

I'd say you need new sources. The DO announced his retirement quite a long time ago, which was publicly announced to the pilot group months later, but still months ago.
