If the story is even true....Grow up!
So anybody can deny a GoJet pilot, but a GoJet pilot cannot do the same. You boys are a bunch of cry babies...
If you start a jumpseat war, be prepared for the consequences...

There is no jumpseat wars on behalf of GoJet....we let everyone in the back including 135 guys. Don't assume that some guys saying a friend of his was put off a GoJet flight, means it happend. You can hate us for whatever you like but you will always get a ride home or to work if you like.

Have to call you on this one again, I have personally watched GoJet crews deny mainline United drivers no less than 3 times. Once I was standing at the end of the A concourse in STL waiting for my EMB145 at the next gate over, and a very upset United captain who had just gotten back from one of your CRJ's asked me what the hell their (the pilots) problem was. I simply told him, welcome to Hulasland. Once again magnum man, and this goes for the other GJ guys on this site, you cannot speak for all of colleagues. Perhaps rightfully so, there are bitter pilots up and down your seniority list because they have been denied many times. I'm 100% confident that at least some of them are denying pilots on a regular basis. And I think finally you and I have something we can agree on, I'm sure you'll admit that at least SOME of them are doing it, and that this story isn't all that far fetched.

I jumped GoJet from MLI to ORD the Monday after Thanksgiving. Although I did get a ride it was quite difficult. The gate agent was lazy and didn't want to help me. She said that I would have to go back out to the ticket counter and get permission.
When the pilots arrived I approached but they turned and walked off. They made no effort to talk with me when I approach the FLT deck to check in and say thank you. They just looked up and said "you'll have to sit in the back."
DA!
To my knowledge you're not cass and the back was half full.

I agree with all of this...
1. Don't ask a gojetter for his jumpseat.
2. Don't let him in yours.
3. Let the consequences begin...
I think the rest of the industry can manage their commute without gojets.

He was denied a Jumpseat in the Cockpit of a US Air flight and now he won't carry any US air guys.
Still Grounded....here you say that the GoJet guy was denied a jumpseat in the cockpit.....how you going to lie your way out of this one???
We cant even get through the gate agent because we are non CASS.

Try something substantial like "I will talk with our people at GoJet and see that we resolve this". It seems to me that chances of you needing a ride on another companies airplane is lot better than me needing a ride on yours.
All I know is what I was told, maybe I blew it on a technicallity with what seat it was, jumpseat, 12A or the crapper. Doesn't much matter does it.
Your guy pulls my guy because someone else pulled him. Sounds like the start of a long commute. I am not saying it was right of the US air guy but you get what you settle for, one stab in the back deserves another.

In reality how much more is a go jetter making than the rest of us? I have
p@@sed enough money up on a wall. So they suck, we know that, but I want a ride home, and they probably need one too. Dont punish their families for that. You want to find a monster, mess with the family....And for those of you that dont have one, you dont want to find out....By the way I am not a go-jet supporter

No I'm sorry. I don't work for a regional yet. However, it isn't the family that is being punished it's the pilot. If someone is non-union they were willing to cross a line in the sand. When crossing that line they also accept all of the responsibilities and hardships that come with it. The "family" you speak of is not my nor anyone elses responsibility. He decided to do something he knew damn well was looked down upon by the industry.... He get's what's coming to him. I understand it sucks when it's your turn to go home and you can't do it. Personally I wouldn't ask the GoJet guys for a hop. If you got there on your line you can get home on your line. It's that simple. There is no price to pay for dignity and respect that's worth it.
PS. I wrote this drinking sorry for typo's and yes I had a DD.

I want to be careful how I word this, I am not trying to compare mesa with GJ, but it is not a secret that a lot of people don't like mesa. So what does mesa do? They welcome jumpseaters. You never hear of anyone getting denied by a Mesa crew. I have to ride them alot and they are always the most friendly and welcoming crews I run into. I have never heard anything other than, "Welcome aboard, glad to have you, make yourself at home." Maybe GJ needs to take a lesson from them, and try to build some respect (however little it may be) wherever they can. I can't believe GJ pilots would do this and only make it harder for their fellow pilots than it already may be.
