Cue the justifiers and apologists... These threads are really starting to make me sick.
Making you sick because you're not educated to how pay works. It's because you base everything on pay rates. Our current CEO would give us 20 more an hour if we took Republic work rules and health insurance. I laugh when these idiots come on here and spout all day about pay rates. It's almost laughable!! Yea I'm making 110.00 an hour but my work rules gives me 81 block hours a month if I'm lucky. While someone with better work rules makes 94 an hour and getting 91-96 hours of pay credit. And instead of paying 700 a month for health insurance is paying 300.00.
Before many of you start slamming PDT maybe you should do some research. Just saying.......

Nobody want to hear this Billy, NO one cares what pdt did before, it's "what have you done for me lately" kind of mentality.

And that insurance cost at 300.00 is if ours doubles from the current rate. I mean really??? Many people have no clue what we pay for it, or how good it is. How good our Vacation bidding is...... Oh but we make 7.00 less an our on the Jet rates. Blahahahahaha

Does Piedmont have trip touch or any other vacation benefits? What rigs do they have? Does PDT get hotels in base, for instance stuck in base while on a trip? How long is the rsv call out? Do they have long call?

Our vacation bidding is the best. Many running around with 4 vacation slots so taking at the least 2 months off out of the year is EASY. No duty rigs only a min. day. No hotel if you get stuck in base. No long call reserve however we don't have hot airport reserve either.

Piedmont isn't the best regional airline by a long shot. But it sure the hell isn't the worse by a long shot either.

It's called pattern bargaining my friend. While you may have other things in your contract that make up the difference, you can rest assured those rates will be used to put pressure on pilots at other carriers. Before you know it management will be back again to address the parts of your contract that "aren't competitive" with your peers. When does it end?

Judging by a few of your posts recently, it's futile to argue with you. I can only hope one day you'll begin to see the big picture.

And btw, I pay around $350 a month for a family of four and typically credit 90 hours a month with 15 days off. Your numbers aren't really that impressive
