No one is showcasing, it is the truth. The aircraft will be in PHL and while it may not be fair we will fly some of their routes. This is the danger and benefit for them being a contract carrier. American can giveth and taketh away and Wisconsin is also free to try and shop around with other partners. (See also the failed Delta experiment) If you want to go on about acquiring airplanes, we really should have gotten the 175 initially...it would have been best for all parties, but you would accuse us of stealing that too. Since this is really turning into high school rivalries...goooo PDT! FML!

I'm thinking acquiring 175's was also from undercutting another ALPA Group??? Just saying.

I wouldn't spend much time arguing with JT8D. Just go back and read all his past quotes and that will sum him up.

Unless your hands are completely clean pointing fingers at others is pretty laughable.

PDT had zero infrastructure and routes that would support a 175 type aircraft. ENY had all that. Bringing PDT into the hubs marketing had planned for the 175 and buying them the facilities and equipment would have been monumentally expensive.

I agree but look at the cost of bringing the 145's over?? You've already got an airline operating them. Mid Atlantic was easily started and many airlines start with no infrastructure.
I wish we just keep the dash 8's till they time out and flow.
Looks like however 145s will be temporary until that structure is built then here comes the 175's
