Unless I'm starving...I never eat the crew/passenger meals on the flight...Too much crap in that food...I take ISOPURE meal replacement packages with me on my trips...Also some protein bars. I'm a gym freak and need at least 300 grams of protein per day to help my routine, and ISOPURE has 50 grams of the stuff per package...It also mixes well with water...Plus it's better to just drink plain 'ol H2O and lots of it...Eat healthy be healthy.

If you look real close in the picture you will see me eating an hot fudge sunday...It was my birthday...Honestly!!!!!!!

I think you need to lay off the gym food...it's causing short term memory loss and a lot of repeated statements.

yes it does make you go pee, but so does water. it does not make you eliminate more fluids than you take in, that is why is not a diuretic. furthermore, they have found out it destroys cancer cell in the liver in lab rats ( more studies to follow).

on the down side, it is an irritant, so if you suffer from IBS, Heartburn , acid relex or something like that you should stay away from it.

also, the airplane water used for making coffe is full of bacteria... but is ok to drink it from a reputable coffe shop or make your own with bottle/filter water if you carry one of those plastic french press from REI.
I just wanted to add that instant and powdered coffee are high in oxalates, which can hinder the absorption of milk. It also raises homoscysteine, which may cause heart disease, but then again it may be a cause of it...still under study...Coffee also stimulates acid secretion, which can aggravate ulcers, and also upset the stomach...not a great thing to be drinking a whole lot of...but yeah, a little bit is good for you and wakes you up...just don't overdo it like the 6 cups daily that were recommended earlier...maybe some days u can get away with it...but I'd say this person has the right idea...
