Eating and Pilot Health

I used to drink diet coke to avoid excess sugar, but I read some alarming facts about the artificial sweetener used in it, aspartame. I recommend anybody that drinks large quantities of diet coke to google about aspartame and its health impact. I now drink regular coke, just in moderate amounts.
My family and friends all drink coffee. I would like to drink it too, but I can't get past the awful taste. I try to drink it with little or no sugar and cream, as they probably destroy any health benefits the coffee provides. Does anybody have some tips to develop a taste for it? It's so hot and bitter, and it burns my mouth. I prefer a cold domestic beer.

In closing I'll add something I read awhile back in the 'What I've Learned' issue of Esquire: "It's hard to beat a ***deleted by admin***, but a good hot cup of coffee on a cold day in your favorite mug can come really close." In my opinion it is absolute truth. Good luck on aquiring the taste.
You can beat your dog, you can even beat your wife, hell you can even you can beat your meat, but you can't beat a ***deleted by admin***!
Yes, my lifes motto.
