Default Gastric bypass ?

I am considering this as a way to lose weight. Diet and exercise is not working as I cannot keep up with it. A surgeon friend actually recommended gastric sleeve surgery.

I called FAA Aeromedical Division in OKC and they were extremely vague in terms of when I could get my medical back. etc.

Just wanted to find out from your personal experiences.

How about a little more about why conventional means are not helping? Being honest with yourself about your eating and exercise habits? Can't find time,,, are you sure?

In the Apple App Store look for an App called, Lose it. Weight control is much like your bank account. Track what is happening and you will do much much better.

There are a lot of things that cause weight gain that can not be dealt with by diet and exercise. Hypothryroidism, Cushings, and a long list of medications, to name just 3.

You have no idea if an app from the Apple store will help the OP. There are very good odds that it won't.

I have heard that the long term success rate is not good for this surgery. Lots of potential problems with it, and people tend to return back to where they were before. This is dangerous.
