When does this actually start? So hypothetically say I start ATP/CTP next Monday and will be commuting from a PSA base, would I be able to get it prior to then or would I be stuck paying for parking at any base for both ATPCTP and class dates?

You'd be fitting the bill out of pocket. You're not officially an employee of PSA until you start indoc. My suggestion for anything like this, since they are technically work expenses, is to keep the receipts and write them off on taxes. You'll likely have many more expenses before too long that the company doesn't reimburse, so make sure you keep any and all receipts. Im writing off parking fees, my initial uniform purchase, the cost of my ATP written, headsets, black shoes, black socks, and several other items that were needed for this job.

As for training, depending on how far away you are, having your own vehicle in DAY is worthwhile for some. Free parking at the hotels and training center.

The above poster is correct, parking for CTP and training is out of pocket. That said for as long as you'll be at CTP, or Indoc, it might be easier just to get a ride to the airport, or maybe Uber it.

As for logbooks, I have an upcoming interview and all of my logs are printed and bound from logbook pro. I have heard of people tabbing certain checkrides throughout their history; is this necessary? Also I am going to have several days of flying just before the interview date that I am not going to be able to have printed and added to my log. Should this be an issue? My last day I flew was on 8/11 due to vacation.

For someone who has already started indoc, and subsequently (during training) is called to active duty military, are all privileges, including flight, suspended? e.g. are spousal and parental flight privileges inactivated until the employee returns to active status at PSA?

So I'm going to go with a qualified yes on that one. Someone with more experience with mil leave can elaborate if family is included in that one.
