As an former XJT guy who saw the writing on the wall and jumped ship to PSA three years ago. I would have loved to have had PSA do what they are doing now to make interviewing so easy.

If your going to be mad at somebody be mad at DA UA and AA. Ultimately they are the ones who have made regionals what they are today.

Sorry to say it but the only people that regional crews should be mad at when stuff like this happens is themselves. Anyone can do some competent research about how the regionals came to be, and also about the why and how the majors utilize them for their benefit. The more regional crews understand the big picture the less disappointment they'll have when the music stops once in a while and chairs get taken out or re-arranged.

I personally hope pay and benefits at the regionals will improve even more in the near future or, even better, that the game will be up soon and the majors will be forced to bring the flying back . . . but if that doesn't happen they I'll do my best to be mentally and financially prepared for it.

Like ironmanndfw said, hate the game not the players. If you are knowingly willing to play ball at the regionals, then be prepared for what the game entails . . . the worst thing you can do in my book is complain about what happens in it and try to blame somebody else for a bad play, because that shows me that you just didn't do your homework.

I can see the frustration, but it's business at the end of the day. And if some ASA guys go to PSA or another regional instead of having no job to support themselves, then I'm all for it

Agree, but the lack of discernment by PSA head recruiter was pathetic as far as timing was concerned.

Regard for the reactions of the "never PSA" crowd doesn't fill seats.

We've got a couple of XJT guys in this July 31 class. They seem happy to have a job and a lump sum bonus. That's the choice they made-- maybe with the persuasion of an ad.

Well... it does look like XJT is firing back.

"Join us Thursday, August 24, 2017, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel in Atlanta for pizza and on-site interviews."

Same place and time as the event PSA Recruiters are hosting.

And to think, I was really looking forward to XJT stopping their sending of postcards to my house... I guess the sky isn't falling after all..

Same here, I'm building a house of postcards with them so it's good to know that my construction project won't come to a screeching halt anytime soon

Bahahaha

I heard that PSA no-showed for the event in ATL today. The best part is that people that showed up expecting to talk to PSA recruiters ended up talking to recruiters with ExpressJet.

Way to go, PSA.
