What’s your guy’s opinion on first class non-rev to and from work in uniform?

If they didn't sell the seat to a paying customer, what's the difference? A paid (or complimentary) upgrade will always take precedence over a non-rev. I'd wager that most of the first class passengers we get have status that gives them complimentary upgrades while only a few are actually paying (or their company is) for the seat.

Enjoy the nap in a more comfortable seat without someone slapping you in the face each time they turn on/off the reading light or gasper, but definitely lay off the free drinks.

Domestic first class is overrated anyways. Window seat with a middle seat vacant, please. And don't wake me up while I'm sleeping. Also, CAs, stop with the announcements after 9 pm and before 6 am. No one cares about what you have to say unless it's an evac and then they'll only care about their carry on luggage. /rant over

My family is flying somewhere (wife and 2 young boys) and I would like to help them get through security and to the gate.

Is there a proper way I can do this? I talked to the ticket agent and she said they are only supposed to give gate passes to those taking an unaccompanied minor to the gate.

I don't have a KCM card yet, just a company ID.
