Quick Question: Im considering coming over with the High Time FO. I have 500 P121 hrs flying the CRJ, how long can I expect to be on reserve until reaching 1000hrs. Also, are they forcing CA upgrades? Thanks

Those big bonuses they advertise? They are contingent upon you bidding CA as soon as available.

Expect to sit reserve in your seniority-based order

How is the training now??
There was a disgruntled former PSA pilot who started a website dedicated to how bad it was.
And at my previous shop there were 2 I knew of who made it all the way to checkride day and then quit because they knew they were being set up for failure.

The training is way better now, and the pass rate along with it. I think when I went through, for the entire year pass rate was up to 97% or something like that, and everyone was amazing. I have had multiple friends also go through the training and we all agreed they fixed whatever was wrong back when that website came out.

Much better now. They need captains so they’ll get you through training

Currently at DCA it looks like FO's sit SCR for 3-4 months. They are forcing upgrades, par for the course these days at any regional.
