We do not fly the 175. We fly the CRJ 200, 700, 900.

Welp...Dripping sarcasm aside...

A pilot hired today would most likely not see a less than 2 year upgrade unless we get more acft. 3 Years is probably a safer bet.

That being said PSA is a good place to be right now. If you can stomach the 12/4(which shouldn't come in to play for a new hire at this time) our contract has some pretty good stuff in it, specifically for time off and soft pay.

It's interesting to get some perspective from Comair guys. We have quite a few of them. They used to have "the best" contract and most of them will tell you it's not all that bad over here.

As far as the quoted post, we don't fly 175s. This is the typical uninformed "I hate PSA because I've been told to hate PSA" post. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. If you cannot have a constructive conversation about PSA, or ask a related question please keep it to yourself.

I see and understand your point. A majority of these new hired are prior 121 as well so that's an attractive aspect for them.

I'm not really sure I see or understand his point at all.

His nonsense is exactly the type of post that gets every thread on this site derailed and eventually closed.

Yes. I saw that. I just refuse to get into any "you guys ruined the industry" conversations on here. I would assume the ones that are posting those kind of things really don't know the history of the Regionals. I have lived it, and that train left the station long ago. It is what it is.

This guy is a frustrated pinhead stuck in a f/o position for the last 4 or 5 years. He's a legend in his own mind that hired on at his first 121 airline and has no idea what it's like to be in the left seat on anything bigger than a 172.

Well, back to topic. Call me if you want to learn more about PSA!

Meh, the 12/4 won't affect us. Who cares about those guys who haven't entered the industry yet.

seafeye 07-18-2014 06:18 AM

Or PM me. I'd like the $1000 bonus for signing you up.

Not relevant for a new hire.

"Come work here, but we (as in pilots) really don't give a sh*t about you."
