A few months ago Pedro told Eagle employees that the CRJs were going to stay at Eagle, so why so much confidence in the current plan? What is stopping Dougie from moving CRJs to Piedmont if they vote in their fancy new jet TA?
Secondly, I don't see why I need to worry about Eagle's 140s. It was announced months ago that they will be parked.

Sorry if I missed it, but is PSA looking at opening any new bases in the future? With all these a/C coming on line, you would think that may be in the talks...

Not as of yet. The 900s coming on line are to replace mesa's flying out of Charlotte. Mesa will be relocated to dfw. People have been talking about opening up Akron for years but it hasn't happened. I can see PHL being a new base for PSA.

New bases will open. You can look at all the Airways/American bases and rule out a few right away. MIA, LAX, DCA and PHX are unlikely. PHL, LGA, ORD and DFW are possibilities. Probably about 6-12 month before the company makes any announcement regarding new bases and route structure. Once the 900s are all delivered, the 700s will start coming over from Envoy.

Minor point, but Pedro's memo stated that the 700s would remain at Eagle/Envoy "for the foreseeable future". Apparently the "foreseeable future" ends in mid 2015.
