When Envoy pilots start trying to commute to ORD or DFW on a PSA CRJ-700 most guys will not deny PSA the jumpseat anymore.

Oh that's not going to happen. Hub to hub has to be done by mainline. That's why MIA - CLT has transitioned from embraers to 320's and PHX - LAX is transitioning to mainline (only 3 a day left on CRJs)

This is not correct, they like to keep mainline due to the high volume of passengers but there isn't anything that keeps them from putting regionals on their routes.

For example:

Air Wisconsin flies between PHL-CLT and DCA-PHL

Mesa flies from LAX-PHX

At United you see this all over the place as well.

I wouldn't be surprised to see PSA and Piedmont planes from hub to hub in the future , specially Piedmont with the embraers.

He means commuting to DFW or ORD from outstations in which RJs operate (BNA-ORD for ex).

It is/was in AA scope. Don't know if it survived. No regional flying between hubs.

This talk is all moot. As of the 15th all American employees can non-rev on us air and vice versa.

Just under 800 as of the 10th.

Without looking at attrition that would mean we have hired right around 300 since last Dec '13/Jan '14.
