PSA Bumps Up Marketing + Recruitment Effort
#61
This entire argument will just go away in a few days. Envoy MEC has likely greenlighted what we all know is a concessionary deal this weekend. You know the pilots are going to green light it too.
By this time next week we'll all be hanging out in Envoy threads talking about how they are bringing the entire industry down.
Can't wait, getting my popcorn ready.

After all that has been happening to Eagle I cannot believe you all are still under the impression that PSA should've voted no, and that voting no would've been good for PSA.
PSA had less than 50 acft at the time of our vote and were told we would be shutdown in the event of a no vote. In less than a year's time AAG has announced either initial placement or transfers of more than 100 acft away from Eagle.
Everyone's war-cry at the time of our vote was "no one can staff your flying, they cannot shut you down." That has been proven to be false.
If PSA voted no we would've been shutdown. Period. Why would it then be ok for PSA pilots to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars and stall their career advancement? Just to say "We went down fighting?" This isn't a movie, it's business and it's real life.
You guys had protection from this sort of thing via scope previously. You voted it away for flow.

You keep trying to gloss over the fact that if PSA and PDT had held firm against any concessions, along with Envoy and Expressjet, management couldn't just go and shut down all those carriers. It's really that simple...

Whatever happened after we voted no, and were shutdown, would not have mattered.
We would've been made an example of. AAG had given away more than enough of your acft to shutdown at least PSA AND PDT.
Are you voting no for your current deal?

The only reason that the Envoy MEC is supporting this current contract is that they were presented with a shut down plan from AAG. It detailed the exact steps and time frame for the next 3 years of how Envoy would be shut down.
