And a PSA pilot is ineligible to interview at AA any other way.

Can a PSA guy actually confirm this?

Much better than my current 12/2 schedule, flying 8-10 days a month and 20-40hrs. It's hard to be proficient when this is the case. Also at my current rate it would be 3-4 years before I make captain. I'm taking a pay and benefit cut to go to any regional, but I'm looking at is like a 3-4 internship for that job I really want down the road.

Yeah if he wanted a good wholly owned and flow, he should have gone to Envoy!

Sure, I don't care either way.

He is going to regret it when all AA hiring is done through the wholly owned regionals and he is stuck fighting everyone else for UAL or Delta.

I want to get back to 91/135 on larger equipment. Most of the jobs I'd like require 3500-4500 hours and turbine PIC.

I want to fly Challengers, Falcons, or G things. I have contacts in the industry and have networked well, but I can't get a job flying anything larger than what I am until I have more time.

Yeah an internship where you are responsible for a multi million dollar piece of equipment, 100s of lives per day, and have previous education and extensive training. Why expect to get paid for that when you can just do it for next to nothing. Welcome to the regionals.

You made a HUGE mistake by narrowing your choices down to PSA or Mesa. Either way you were screwed. At this point I would tell you to apply somewhere else before even starting class at Mesa...but I have a funny feeling it will fall on deaf ears. So let me just say this: good luck with your career. You will need it.

What was the Mesa interview like?

I'm sure he got offered a class, over the phone, without even meeting them!
