If you commute, or if you want a bag that will last a long time get the PNT. I have beat the living poo out of mine, I commute, and it is still going strong. I do wish I would have gotten the 737 version though. That 1 inch can make a world of difference.

I also purchased the PNT Split Grain Leather flight case. It is wonderful. I do wish I would have purchased the ballistic nylon version though, simply because it has a lot more pockets. But... if you got hired into the CRJ be careful with the ballistic version, too much stuff in those pockets and it will just barely / won't fit.

The travel pro stuff is ok, and I have a few non commuting buddies who swear by theirs. But based on how my PNT looks after a relatively short time, I would have already gone through at least 1 travel pro by now.

Some may think this is bs, but I feel it is worth it to get good equipment early on. You won't regret it, You will regret getting crap equipment when a wheel falls off on day 1 of a 4 day, or the handle falls off on your flight case and you have to literally carry the damn thing.

Also, there are a bunch of threads just like this one. Go digging and you will find some more good info and reviews on this type of equipment.

I'll comment on the flight bag only, as I don't know a shifen about roller bags.

As a current "class-ee," I see my classmates with many different bags. I would recommend against the office depot bag as it has wheels. There are several choices on stopoverstore.com, and I would reccomend the purdy neat bags, nylon or leather. Both nice, with plenty of pockets and pen holders etc. Dunno if thats important to you or not, but I like it. Others I know claim the Purdy neat stuff is great from a quality standpoint.

Is it wrong if I actually hand carry my bags?
