As for your second question, maybe everyone staying is following your example (yikes!). Today's goat could be tomorrow's winner, after all. Maybe I'll just sit at a regional for 15-20 years then get lucky with a flow to mainline. Then come back and troll the regional threads and pretend like I know everything about the industry and how to get hired at a major ;)
