Republic Airways

Hello:

I am leaving LAX (Los Angeles, CA) tomorrow for my RAH interview on Thursday March 08, 2007.

What I would like to know is: Bases for all three companies broken down by company!

Anyone know sim profile?

Someone else did this in an earlier thread, but it looks something like this:

Chautauqua CRJ:
SDF
IAH
CRP

Chautauqua 135/140/145:
CMH
SDF
BUF
RIC
GSO
STL
IND

Republic 170:
DCA
PIT
IND
DEN

Shuttle 170
CMH
IND
ORD

If the profile is still the same as it was when I interviewed, it's nothing major. T/O climb to 3,000' (steep turn?) go do a hold, direct to LOM, full ILS, missed approach, lose the engine, clean it up declare emergency, done. Takes about 30-45 minutes if you're doing it all right. Sim is very touchy, fly with the trim, change the power as little as possible. Don't ever use the "cruise" power setting they give you.

What airports do they use for sim ride?
What IAP's do they use as well?

Couple of Questions

How senior is DCA or Pitt for FO's? Upgrade time on the 170?

Here's another, can you go FO 170 to ERJ/CRJ Capt?

DCA and Pitt, I do not know, but I can tell you that FO on the 170 can upgrade to the ERJ/CRJ.

DCA is going just a little bit more senior than PIT. There is supposed to be alot of growth at PIT. The last several classes have had FO's go to PIT, DCA, and DEN.

I'll tell you this much, this week at RAH has been 170 week. The last two days, most people were hired into the 170, WITHOUT THE 1500TT. The airport for the sim eval is IND. Not much has changed. The interview hasn't changed much. Some unlucky ones got Bart Wooldridge in their interview the other day. He seems like a great guy in the hour I got to talk to him, but he grilled some people on systems of their current airplane.

Pilot754, my class will be coming through the break room hourly tomorrow while you guys are in there waiting. I'll try to say hi.

Aaahhhh. Nothing like taking a break from the old Indoc class and seeing all the suits sitting, waiting for their turn.

Haha, no kidding. Now the shoe is on the other foot! When I interviewed, I wanted all those guys to say hi. Now it's my turn. The room has a completely different dynamic now that I'm employed.
