Cape Air gave us a single room. They also paid the flight to/from and lodging for the interview. Nice.

Yea, I second that. The airlines are experts at bad accommodations.

I did. I couldn't sleep it was terrible. It was worth the money. I went home on weekends and got a severly discounted rate on the hotel. So it worked well.

If you get a rewards card with the hotel you're staying at you'll probably get about 1/5 of your nights free of charge if it came down to it.

But yeah, it's BS. TSA still doesn't pay for any hotels during training.

YGBSM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what am in college or even worse....on spring break (days of sharing a room are OVER!!!) ?????????????

is this an isolated case or the standard??

thoughts?
At Delta, except for the orientation (2 days) you are on your own - find your own hotel or crash pad - so be thankful some airlines will pay for a room for a new hire. Welcome to the wonderful world of new hires!!!
