I’m choosing Skywest.

This is the funniest post on this thread. Dude--he is not gonna get eaten alive, ok? He'll be just fine on the line and will probably do a great job. Gotta love flame throwers like you who hide behind a computer screen and ridicule others!
To the OP--congrats on getting to an airline. Enjoy training and soak in your first few flights because you'll remember them forever.

It would help to know where you want to live. West coast, ERJ, midwest/atlanta, CRJ. You can get pretty much anything within a few months base wise except SLC/IAH/SAN/BOI/FAT/PHX those will take longer. If you want SAN/BOI, ERJ is the only option. If you want IAH/DTW/MSP/ATL/SLC/COS/TUS/PSP/PHX, CRJ is your only option. Upgrade time is irrelevant of airframe, you can upgrade into another, however you will get your 1000 121 time faster on CRJ. You will sit reserve longer on ERJ. ERJ schedules are better by a small margin. Do not choose the ERJ for VNAV and A/T's.

I’m trying to do the research hence why I asked the questions. I understand there isn’t a perfect company, you cant please everyone but I made my choice according to what I believe is best for ME. The post wasn’t meant as a “hey look at me, I chose SKywest” it was a legitimate attempt to get some real answers from SKYWEST pilots who are currently flying the line not a recruiter. I honestly don’t care what the opinion is about the company I care about what the opinion is on the airframes. PS I did try reading a few posts but none of the ones I found had what I was looking for. If you don’t like what I asked, move on you don’t have to respond.

I don’t think you’re getting it. People are trying to tell you that all that you have asked has been answered over and over again, you sound like you are clueless. That was the whole reason for the sarcastic answers. Even if you didn’t know, a kid can take a few hours of reading these forums to make a guess at what fleet is better. Now help me out please what should I get for lunch Panda Express or McDonald’s?

well you said it... miserable.
Surfpilot there are people on here who have no life other than flying and APF. They take all their spare time on here making comments that makes them feel self important and get each other all riled up when really...no one gives a damn.
Fellow aviators...Why can't you just answer the question knowledgeably and professionally? If you don't know the answer and you are that bored and lonely find another question you CAN answer knowledgeably and move on people come on. Grow up. Course I don't know why I bothered typing this. It will only ignite more BS for the lonely bored oh-so-great folks out there. A lot of us don't want to take the time to read all your BS to find an answer so we end up starting a new post JUST to not be depressed getting stuck reading all your crap for hours trying to find an answer.
Yes we know we're underpaid, company doesn't give a damn about us, we're overworked blah blah. If you don't like it...guess what? No one is forcing you (except yourself) to put the uniform on and do it again and again the next day.
Heck yeah applicants will keep coming. After all, seniority is everything! Why wait for contracts after spending tens of thousands to finally get "the hours"?
I'm sorry prospective airline pilots are not working at McDonald's just to appease you and keep classes empty for your $1 raise. In the end, companies squeeze regionals guys for all were worth til we move on to the majors. It is what it is. And hey, in a perfect world...the pencil pushers might see that if they do give us the $$ we deserve, we might actually stay. But when that day comes.....well let's just say, it ain't. Sorry. So all you unhappies clogging up the forum with your misery and unnecessary comments...why don't one of you geniuses make a post just for you. Title it...

We'll miss you.
Seriously no one has said anything here that scathing to you. Try posting something stupid on the Skywest Facebook group and see how it goes over. I've seen at least one person likely tank their career, at least short term, over it. There's a lot of good advice here and you're brushing it off as "Bitter unhappy people" rather than looking into it.
